This course covers fundamental topics including American Heart Basic Life Support (CPR), emergency vehicle driving, and preparatory topics for the EMT. This course is required to be completed for final acceptance into the EMT program. An orientation for the upcoming EMT semester will be held during this course.

You must register and pay for this course and the EMT course!!!

●       Possession of a high school diploma, high school equivalency or successful completion of an exam assessing basic reading comprehension skills at a minimum at the eleventh-grade level.

 

●       The student must be 17 years of age on or before the official end of course.

Students must successfully complete this course in order to remain in the EMT course.
