This 12-week course is designed to help small-scale farmers, homesteaders, and local food producers develop effective marketing strategies to grow their businesses and strengthen their connection with their communities. Through a combination of lectures, and interactive activities, participants will learn how to identify target markets, build a strong farm brand, and choose the right marketing channels to increase visibility and sales.

  • Building a unique farm brand and compelling story
  • Creating effective marketing materials and social media content
  • Leveraging farmers’ markets, CSAs, and farm stands
  • Developing farm websites and online sales platforms

  • Navigating regulations and labeling for direct-to-consumer sales

By the end of the course, participants will create a personalized Marketing Action Plan tailored to their farm, enabling them to confidently promote their products, grow their customer base, and increase profitability while staying true to their farm’s values and mission.
